HT sanctuary
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”Matthew 22:37b

In our worship, we seek to engage the whole person through sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Scripture, prayer, and sacrament bind us together as a community and to the God who continually re-creates us, making all things new.

Our worship provides a template for Kingdom living as each moment of our time together finds its full meaning in our life between Sundays. In worship, we learn to listen to God, to ground our life in prayer, and to recognize the holy in the everyday as we gather at table, live the Gospel, and forgive one another. This transformation completes itself when we translate our worship and daily discipleship into action and carry God’s love and light into a hurting world.

If you’ve never experienced sacramental worship, some aspects may be new and different for you. There’s nothing you need to know ahead of time, except that we’re all learning along the way, and your fellow worshipers are there to guide you.

Holy Trinity’s worship includes the use of pure frankincense incense during the seasons of Advent and Lent and on most high holy-days of the church year, including Christmas, Epiphany, Shrove Tuesday/Ash Wednesday, Holy Saturday, Easter, and Pentecost. We also use homemade gluten-free, dairy-free eucharistic bread (see recipe here).

Regular weekly services:

Sundays @ 10:00am – Family Friendly Service

This is a family-friendly service where kids are welcome, celebrated, and integrated into our worship. While nursery care is available, kids of any age are always welcome in worship and are free to be kids. Most Sundays include Holy Communion. On the third Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Agape Feast (Love Feast) which wraps a potluck brunch in liturgy. The specifics of our worship vary with the season to reflect the spiritual focus of various times in the church year. Our music is accompanied by piano and includes a wide range of styles from traditional hymns, to world music, to contemporary worship songs. Worshipers can expect incense during the high, holy seasons and days of the church year. Come one and all, young and old!

Sundays @ 7:00pm

This is a worship service for those who are looking for something a little different in their worship experience. Sundays @ 7 is casual, contemplative, and participatory — truly the work of the people. The first Sunday of the month is a casual service that integrates prayers and song from around the world and offers Holy Communion. Third Sundays feature a Taizé service with music and short readings from the Taizé Community in France. Second, fourth, and fifth Sundays are a traditional evening prayer service without musical accompaniment. Come experience something old and something new!
