School Uniform

Uniforms are to be worn beginning the first day of school or upon the discretion of the Principal.  Uniforms can be purchased from any store; however, only the Spokane Uniform House at 526 W. Main stocks the Trinity sweatshirt.  The school’s uniform exchange has a number of used uniforms that are available to all parents at no cost.  Please help us continue to provide free uniforms by donating your child’s outgrown items  to the exchange.  The standard uniform is as follows:

GIRLS:  Plaid,  navy, and black jumpers for grades 1-4; plaid, navy, and black skirts for grades 4-8.  Navy blue, black skorts for all girls. (For skirt or skort length:  when girls are standing with arms at their sides, skirt or skort may not be shorter than the end of finger tips.)   Navy or black cords, or navy or black dress slacks (cotton, polyester, other fabrics).  No jeans, stretch pants or sweat pants.  Pant length must touch ankle.  Plain white, light blue, or navy blue collared, no logo, no trim long or short sleeved blouses or shirts are acceptable.  Solid black, navy or white knee highs, ankle socks, or tights.  Tennis shoes that do not scuff.  Navy blue Trinity sweatshirt with Trinity Catholic School emblem or navy blue sweater.  Navy blue or black walking shorts can be worn after Spring Break to the end of the school year, and from the beginning of the school year until October 15.  Gauchos, capris, and cut-offs are not acceptable.

BOYS:  Navy blue or black cords, or navy or black dress slacks (cotton, polyester, other fabrics).  No jeans, stretch pants or sweat pants.  Pant length must touch ankle.  Light blue, white cotton, or navy blue collared, no logo, no trim, long or short sleeved shirts .  Navy blue sweatshirt with Trinity School emblem or navy blue sweater.  Only plain white T-shirts may be worn under the uniform shirt.  White socks with tennis shoes are appropriate.   Navy blue or black walking shorts can be worn after Spring Break to the end of the school year, and from the beginning of the school year until October 15.

No sweatshirts or jackets will be allowed in the classrooms.  Hats are not to be worn in the building.  Students may not wear sandals, flip flops or large klunky shoes.  Colored hair, tatoos, and piercings are not acceptable.

Trinity students who belong to Camp Fire, Scouts, or other similar youth groups may wear the group’s uniform on meeting days.  Modest, neat (free from holes) clothing may be worn on “free dress” days.
