Read full post...part of this past weekend’s convention work was to approve the diocesan budget for next year, a budget which now includes funds for a full-time congregational developer to serve among the congregations of the diocese — from roslyn to bonners ferry, from oroville to grangeville. bishop waggoner invited fr. paul to fill the position, and fr. paul has accepted the job — recognizing the many ways it will stretch all of us as we move forward. the full-time job with the diocese is to begin January 1st, so there is ample time to re-organize and to plan for smooth transition in ht leadership.

this year during Advent at Holy Trinity, we’re encouraging as many people as possible to self-select into small groups of 4-6 to read and discuss together Esther De Waal’s Seeking God: The Way of St. Benedict, which focuses us on the guiding themes of stability, obedience, and conversion of life as we begin to develop our own informed practice of ‘holiness’ or ‘holy living.’
