marriage101 @ ht — beginning 9/18
Beginning on Thursday, September 18th and running five consecutive Thursdays until October 16th, Holy Trinity will be partnering with Off-Broadway Ministries (an outreach of LifeCenter) and Teen Aid to offer a short-course in relationship basics — for seasoned (even crusty) veterans on the relationship scene and for relative newcomers to dating and commitment.
The program, called “Relationship Works,” will run from 6-9pm each Thursday and includes a meal and childcare. Each of the five sessions includes large group presentations, small group exercises and conversation, and take-home couple’s work.
Session topics include: personality types & compatibility, communication styles, anger & conflict, money & budgeting, making a household together, intimacy & sexuality, and having fun together.
There is no cost for this program, as it’s paid for with federal grants aimed at strengthening local communities by strengthening committed relationships within them.
For more information contact Fr. Paul at 509.263.7793 or paul@trinityspokane.org. Or, register on-line at Marriage Friendly Communities. Just go to their homepage, click on registration, select “relationship works,” and fill in the rest.
See you there!
