bless your shoes — benefit others — shake, rattle, & roll
Get ready for Bloomsday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church where you can enjoy an Italian dinner, live jazz, and a blessing of the shoes on Saturday, May 3rd. Proceeds from the first annual “Spaghetti Swing: Bloomsday Benefit” will support Anna Ogden Hall, a West Central ministry partner that focuses on women and children in transition.
The evening begins with worship at 5pm, featuring a blessing of the shoes. Supper is served at 6pm, followed immediately by a swing dance from 7-9pm, with prizes for dancers great and not-so-great.
Suggested donation of $15/adult and $5/child will go to support Anna Ogden’s good work of moving women and children through crisis and into new paths of hope and vitality. Those who are able to do so are invited to support Anna Ogden at the $25 saint’s level or the $50 angel’s level.
Come! Have a good time for a good cause!!
Directions: get on Broadway and travel west over Maple/Ash — from Broadway go North on Elm two blocks!
