sweet baby jesusjesus the revolutionaryThe Spokane-area Young Adult Ministry (YAM) collective will gather at O’Doherty’s Irish Grille on Saturday, December 15th from 6-8pm to hear from Gonzaga faculty member, Dr. Kevin McCruden, on the anti-Imperial themes of the birth stories in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Dr. McCruden will discuss the distinctions between Christ’s Lordship and Imperial lordship, guiding participants into a renewed appreciation for the newness and radical distinctiveness of the Kingdom of God amidst the kingdoms of our own world.

The YAM collective is aimed at those ages 18-30, faithful and skeptical alike, whether you’re churchy or not. Come see what’s so good about this Good News!

Appetizers and honoraria for the event are being underwritten by the Spokane YAM group, which receives its annual support from the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane. There will be a no-host beverage bar, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and participants are invited to purchase a full supper, if needed. Questions? Contact the Rev. Paul J. Lebens-Englund at 509.326.6471 or paul@trinityspokane.org. RSVPs are appreciated. See you there!
