Celtic Eucharist for Thanksgiving Eve

thanksgivingSt. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N, Wall in Spokane will celebrate Thanksgiving by offering a Contemporary Celtic Eucharist on Wednesday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. The official thanksgiving proclamation by President Lincoln called our country to observe a day of thanksgiving and praise to God for all of our blessings. Some of the most beautiful Celtic Christian prayers are those of praise and thanksgiving: “Thanks be to Thee, O God, that I have risen today, to the rising of this life itself. May it be to Thine own glory, O God of every gift and to the glory of my soul likewise.” The celebration includes community, contemporary chants and conversation. A reception follows. Please bring a finger food snack and/or favorite beverage to share. For more information, call St. David’s at 466-3100.
