ht workday a big success and a great time
On Saturday, September 22nd, a work group descended on Holy Trinity to begin a major renovation of the church’s exterior. Spearheaded by the Cathedral’s outreach committee — which also pledged the first $750 toward the project — the project aims to replace worn shingles, cover bird holes, install corner boards, power wash, and paint the building over a few weekends this fall.
Special thanks to Mahli Burrill, Valarie Compton, and Elaine Meier for heading up the kitchen brigade.
Thanks to Lanny Burrill and Ken Mewhinney for leading the renovation crew and coordinating the materials and rental equipment. Thanks also to Bob Little, Doug Beane, David Powers, and Greg Burrill for long hours of shingling. Thanks to Peggy Johnson, Chris & Trish Newton, and Nikki Burrill for relentless work in the garden. And a very special thanks to Isaac Lebens-Englund for serving as go-for extraordinaire.
Keep our re-start in your prayers! And contact Fr. Paul to find out how you can get involved. Grace & peace to you.
