Hospice of Spokane offering free workshops

hospiceHospice of Spokane will be offering a five-week curriculum addressing the question, “Do you want to expand your caregiver knowledge?”  Come learn helpful tips and useful insights from pros and peers.  Each session will be led by a Hospice of Spokane nurse or social worker with years of experience.  All are invited and welcomed!

Classes are Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:45pm and include the following topics:9/11 — self care

  • 9/18 — fiscal, legal, and social needs
  • 9/25 — communicating with healthcare providers
  • 10/2 — communicating with family and friends
  • 10/9 — spiritual care

Classes will take place in the library at Riverview Care Center — 1841 E. Upriver Drive, Spokane, 99207.  Direct questions and RSVPs to Jon Clifton at 509.456.0438.
